This mural honors Alpena’s Sunrise Side by blending its rich maritime history with its natural beauty. The SS Alpena, the Little Red Lighthouse, and Thunder Bay shipwrecks flow alongside Lake Huron, white pines, and bursts of native wildflowers, creating a vibrant portrait of community and place.
